Crime scenes revisited with Chris Brookmyre – a Tidelines Book Festival taster event
We’re thrilled to welcome back award-winning author Chris Brookmyre to celebrate the release of his new novel Quite Ugly One Evening. Together, we’ll celebrate the return of fan-favourite journalist Jack Parlabane, 30 years after his first appearance in Quite Ugly One Morning. A chance to set sail with Brookmyre aboard a cruise ship where blood is thicker than water! We’ll reunite with the legendary character who ‘cheerfully wanders into enormously dangerous situations and effortlessly makes them much worse’. This evening promises to be full of sharp wit, humour and surprises. Join us to hear more about this page-turning investigation. What could possibly go wrong?
