Treasurer (Voluntary role)
Love books and good with numbers? Join us as our voluntary Treasurer and help shape a vibrant community Book Festival. We’re looking for someone who can:
- Keep clear financial records
- Prepare simple budgets and reports
- Process payment of author fees and other festival costs
- Support grant applications with financial info
- Help ensure our charity stays financially healthy
You don’t need to be an accountant — just organised, confident with figures, and happy to work with a friendly team of booklovers. You need to be up to speed with OSCR regulations, and we can provide support with this.
Time commitment: around 3–8 hours a month, with a little more immediately after the festival season.
This is a voluntary trustee role.
