Letters & Literary Treasures Exhibition 

Wellwood is home to a spectacular and wide-ranging literary collection, including several first editions and a number of rare books and manuscripts. The museum also holds a unique collection of hand written ‘Letters of Acceptance of Honorary Members’ from literary figures stretching back to 1828, when John Galt first penned his acceptance.

This special exhibition includes letters from Charles Dickens and Arthur Conan Doyle, along with more recent letters from Seamus Heaney, Ian Rankin, and Tidelines patron Andrew O’Hagan.
