Andrew O’Hagan in conversation with Zoë Strachan

Our first Book Festival event in 2020 saw our patron Andrew O’Hagan launch his new book, Mayflies, with a virtual conversation between Andrew O’Hagan and fellow Ayrshire-born writer, Zoë Strachan, recorded ‘live’ in front of a Zoom audience.

With personal insight into the novel’s Ayrshire setting, this was a unique conversation between the two authors as they discussed the inspiration for Mayflies and the experience of growing up in an Ayrshire town.
